OUR GOALS
The 406 JOBS initiative has some important yet broad goals:
Ensure every Montanan has a pathway to a career and a plan to achieve it.
Reduce barriers to employment for individuals who have left the workforce.
Achieve consistent quarterly growth in the labor force participation rate.
Increase the number of Montanans achieving financial self-sufficiency.
YEAR ONE WORK PLAN
To support these goals and narrow in on concrete steps to achieve them, a Year One Work Plan for the first year of 406 JOBS implementation identifies 12 priority initiatives, each with specific tasks, expected outcomes and performance metrics. Check our progress on the dashboards below.
